Admission criteria for specific majors is listed at the below links. For more information contact the Associate Dean for Academics in the College of Geosciences.

Transfer Admissions Criteria

Environmental Studies (ENST): at least two courses selected from GEOG 1302, 1303, GEOL 1403, 1303/1103; or other introductory courses in the Geosciences (Geography, Geology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography) and one of these Math/Science courses: MATH 1324, 1325; BIOL 1406, 1306/1106; CHEM 1411

Environmental Geosciences (ENGS): GEOL 1403 or 1303/1103 and these four Math/Science courses: MATH 2413, 2414; CHEM 1411, 1412

Geography (GEOG): at least two courses selected from GEOG 1302, 1303 or the equivalent of GEOG 203 (Earth System Science) and one of these Math/Science courses: MATH 1324, 1325; BIOL 1406, 1306/1106; CHEM 1411, 1412; PHYS 1401

Geology (GEOL) BA: GEOL 1403 or 1303/1103 and one of these Math/Science courses: MATH 1324, 1325; BIOL 1406, 1306/1106; CHEM 1411, 1412; PHYS 1401

GEOLOGY (GEOL) BS: GEOL 1403 or 1303/1103 and these four Math/Science courses: MATH 2413, 2414; CHEM 1411, 1412

Geophysics (GEOP): GEOL 1403 or 1303/1103 and these four Math/Science courses: MATH 2413, 2414; PHYS 2325/2125, 2326/2126

Meteorology (METR): MATH 2413, 2414; PHYS 2425, CHEM 1411, 1412
